About The Position
Leverage advanced and specialized physics research expertise to test and analyze physical phenomena, conduct and shape R&D programs, and support intelligence community client challenges. Apply extensive technical expertise to support cutting-edge space missions. Use industry knowledge and contacts to develop solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with applied research
- Experience with research and development projects supporting the space industry
- Knowledge of high-performance computing, cloud computing, or ML engineering
- Ability to use astrodynamics algorithms or software packages in simulations
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Doctorate degree in Physics or Astronautical Engineering

- Knowledge of cloud services for a major provider (AWS, Google, or Microsoft)
