About The Position

The ASSURE Inventory Service Associate (ISA) is a temporary contractor role responsible for conducting patient field retrieval activities to support the Supply Chain Operations and Returns Team. The ISA will perform inventory management and courier inventory to fittings. This role involves direct interaction with prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule return services and manage inventory. The position requires travel to various locations including hospitals, patient homes, and clinics, and may involve handling sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a comprehensive background check following offer of Agreement
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a satisfactory driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to provide proof of motor vehicle insurance
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams
  • Trustworthy and able to abide by all HIPPA regulations and Kestra policies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work with prescribers, patients, and caregivers
  • Comfortable with entering patient residences
  • Highly organized, service and detail oriented
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle Assure ® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment with care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule return services.
  • Conduct inventory management services, including cycle counts.
  • Move inventory within the area to ensure needed inventory is available at sites for fittings at hospitals, patient homes, and clinics.
  • Accept assignments which could include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
  • Travel to patient homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities to provide retrieval services, potentially including travel to high-risk areas.
  • Assist patients in packing up the Assure® system and all components.
  • Review and transmit essential paperwork with the patient to retrieve the Assure® garment and WCD system.
  • Manage the return of inventory, including Assure® system kits, garments, and electronic equipment, including drop-off at FedEx or approved Walgreens locations.
  • Coordinate and drop off retrieved equipment at Kestra preferred shipping partner(s).
  • Adhere to Pledge of Confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Ensure patient information is not released externally without signed permission and is only shared internally on a need-to-know basis.
  • Do not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by the company unless directly involved with the patient’s case.
