About The Position

Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a growing public accounting firm in Georgetown, Texas seeking an experienced Assurance Supervisor. This position is onsite with a hybrid option after peak audit season.

Requirements

• CPA required
• 6+ years of public accounting experience
• Knowledge of taxation, U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, SSARS
• Experience supervising Associate/Senior Associate staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagement execution
• Review work
• Provide technical and supervisory support
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Perform initial technical reviews of assurance reports with full disclosures
• Supervise audit and assurance engagements
• Demonstrate mastery of financial statement areas, including planning
• Plan and execute review engagements
• Independently complete preparation and compilation engagements
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to staff
• Manage multiple priorities and engagements
