Summary As an Assurance Senior in our Captive Insurance practice , you'll lead audit engagements for captive insurance entities across a range of structures - single-parent captives, group captives, and association captives. You'll work directly with sophisticated clients who use captives as a strategic risk financing tool, and you'll be part of a practice area experiencing real national momentum.

Requirements

3–5 years of public accounting audit experience
Active CPA license or CPA exam in progress
Solid technical foundation in GAAP
Demonstrated ability to lead engagements and manage client relationships
Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and in the room

Nice To Haves

Statutory accounting experience is a plus
Experience auditing insurance entities, specialty finance, or financial services clients
Familiarity with captive insurance structures (single-parent, group, or association)
Interest in growing into a practice leadership or manager role

Responsibilities

Leading audit fieldwork and managing day-to-day engagement logistics for captive insurance clients
Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles (SAP)
Building working relationships with clients—including CFOs, risk managers, and captive managers—who value a team that understands their business
Supervising and developing staff and associates on your engagements
Collaborating with practice leadership to deliver high-quality work product on time and within budget
Supporting business development through exceptional client service and your growing industry knowledge
