About The Position

This position is for an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager. The role involves supporting the Community Manager and maintenance team in the daily operations and financial performance of a multimillion-dollar community asset. The goal is to create an environment for residents that exemplifies California living at its best, optimize net operating income, and carry out the objectives of ownership. The ideal candidate is polished, engaging, energetic, good at customer service, and has current or previous multifamily property management experience. The work is important and done in a high-energy environment.

Requirements

  • Current or previous multifamily property management experience.
  • Previous background as an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
  • Well versed in Affordable Housing procedures including determining eligibility, securing 3rd party verifications, calculating household incomes, completing Tenant Income Certifications, and completing compliance reports.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting.
  • Understanding of maintenance operations, landlord tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
