About The Position

This position is for an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager. The role involves supporting the Community Manager and maintenance team in managing a multimillion-dollar community asset. The goal is to create an environment for residents that exemplifies California living at its best, while also being responsible for daily operations and financial performance of the community, optimizing net operating income, and carrying out the objectives of ownership.

Requirements

Current or previous multifamily property management experience
Previous background as an Affordable Housing/Tax Credit Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager
Well versed in Affordable Housing
Computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting
Experience with Yardi Voyager
College degree

Responsibilities

Determining eligibility for affordable housing programs
Securing 3rd party verifications
Calculating household incomes to determine eligibility
Completing Tenant Income Certifications
Completing compliance reports as required by the Regulatory Agreement
Assisting with financial statements, budget preparation, and monthly reporting
Understanding maintenance operations, landlord tenant law, and fair employment and housing laws
Supporting the Community Manager and maintenance team
Managing daily operations and financial performance of the community
Optimizing net operating income
Carrying out the objectives of ownership
