Learn more at www.buildrenew.com Position Overview The Assistant Project Manager will partner with the Project Manager in providing overall administrative direction for the project. This position is responsible for the execution of the project including safety, quality and financial profitability.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management with involvement in project pursuit to project close-out, overseeing large and complex construction projects.
One year of experience on renewable energy projects preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Outlook, and related software programs.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of BUILD Renewables’ personnel, clients, and subcontractors.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work well in a group environment and foster a team approach.
Highly detail-oriented.
Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Procore and Auto CAD desired.

Responsibilities

In addition to quality, continually ensuring all employees follow health and safety regulations while monitoring operations to promote the wellbeing of the whole team.
Responsible for mentoring and leading project management team.
Manage and enforce adherence to the contract, work plans, project safety plan, project quality plan and company initiatives.
Support efforts toward ensuring that all assigned project estimates, schedules, constructability reviews, value engineering, procurement, oversight and execution are completed with safety and quality as priorities.
Maintain excellent relationships with project management team, owners, engineers, and subcontractors.
Produce weekly labor reports and monthly progress/performance reports for owners/clients.
Review and approve all project invoices.
Prepare subcontracts and review major purchase orders.
Oversee and enforce all processes and procedures that support the project close-out phase
Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
