Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting inclusive employment opportunities and disability-inclusive workforce environments.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including operational leadership, supervision, or team leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employment laws, compliance requirements, and workforce support practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate concerns, risks, and recommendations professionally and constructively.
  • Experience supporting HR systems, reporting processes, workforce training initiatives, or learning systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and HCM systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience supporting HR operations in nonprofit, government contracting, workforce development, social services, or similarly regulated environments preferred.
  • Experience supporting diverse, multilingual, and disability-inclusive workforces preferred.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership and oversight for HR programs, systems, workflows, and service delivery across the organization.
  • Support scalable HR operations by improving processes, strengthening operational consistency, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and accountability.
  • Partner with the VP of Talent & People Management to support implementation of organizational priorities and workforce initiatives.
  • Oversee HR compliance activities and support adherence to applicable employment regulations.
  • Support preparation and review of required HR filings and workforce compliance documentation.
  • Oversee and support recruitment and onboarding operations.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, workforce communications, and employee feedback processes.
  • Support HCM system utilization and reporting processes.
  • Support administration and ongoing development of the organization’s learning management system (LMS).
  • Serve as a trusted operational resource to employees, managers, HR staff, and organizational leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support organizational goals and workforce initiatives.
  • Supervise HR staff, including the Manager of Human Resources and Benefits & Leave Specialist.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, performance feedback and department oversight.
  • Assist in establishing priorities, monitoring workflows, and supporting accountability across HR functions.
