Directs, plans, and develops all aspects of Dallas County’s human resources policies, objectives, and initiatives related to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, risk management, employee services and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Management Scope: Directs a staff of generally thirty (30) staff members that support over 8,000 County employees. Oversees staff related to function and provides direct supervision for all staff. Directs oversight for creating and monitoring the departmental budget of approximately $15M.
