About The Position

The mission of the Division of Communication Disorders is to advance the science behind practice, develop practice ready speech-language pathologists to serve the communication needs of individuals from all backgrounds. The successful candidate will contribute to these efforts. The Division of Communication Disorders at the University of Wyoming is seeking an Associate or Assistant Professor in speech-language pathology with a strong preference for candidates with commensurate experience at the Associate level in alignment with division tenure and promotion standards. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. Primary responsibilities include sustaining a research program in areas of interest, teaching, and service. On campus presence is required for teaching and other duties. Salary and benefits are competitive, and start-up package is excellent.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in speech-language pathology or related discipline
  • Evidence of potential for independent research productivity and publications by time of appointment (Assistant Professor)
  • Evidence of promise for scholarly achievement, potential to develop an independent research program, and potential for high-quality teaching (Assistant Professor)
  • Evidence of independent research productivity and publications (Associate Professor)
  • Evidence of scholarly achievement, development of an independent research program and evidence of high-quality teaching (Associate Professor)
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP
  • Eligible to work in the United States, as sponsorship for any work authorization or work visas is not available for this position.
