About The Position

The Lead Assortment Planner for Nike SKIMS in APLA drives the forecast creation and execution of seasonal assortments that balance consumer demand, financial targets, and marketplace strategies and performance. You will build and manage seasonal assortment plans, develop bottom-up forecasts grounded in retail planning and distribution/door level insights, and optimize inventory to maximize brand revenue across territories. You will own critical planning tools and processes ensuring timely, accurate submissions for seasonal gates and code gate milestones. Leveraging advanced analytics and Excel, you will monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Success depends on strong cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Marketplace, Supply Planning, Business Planning, and other teams to align on and continuously adjust plans to drive assortment strategies and seasonal priorities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in business planning, assortment planning, merchandise planning or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of assortment planning, retail/open to buy planning, inventory management, and retail financial metrics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
  • Ability to manage complex seasonal calendars, code gates, and planning deliverables with precision
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

  • Experience with planning systems (SAP, o9) preferred
