Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. Start Date: June 15, 2026 Location: Atria office (North York, 2255 Sheppard Av.) Work Schedule: 40 hours / week Business hours of operations are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 8 am – 5 pm on Saturdays and statutory holidays. Work shifts will be assigned within these hours. The work schedule will include every Saturday for the first year. After 12 months in your role, you’ll have an opportunity to transition to a one in five-week rotation with your Saturday shift. During the first year, working on statutory holidays is required, and you'll be compensated according to labor standards. During the training phase, you may be asked to come in up to 4 days a week. After the successful completion of training, we offer a hybrid work model that provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.

Requirements

  • At least one year of customer service experience required; previous call center experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in sales and customer loyalty is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for customers and colleagues, and the ability to understand and empathize with others.
  • Tech-savvy abilities, with confidence in navigating various systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
  • You must be prepared to study for and pass the provincial insurance licensing exam with the support of our in-house training team.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in optimally protecting our customers' most valuable assets by advising them on appropriate insurance products, answering their product questions and guiding them through the next steps.
  • Analyze individual customer needs, promote and cross-sell personal insurance products and services.
  • Accept and efficiently process payment method changes, ensuring that customer accounts are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Handle telephone and electronic inquiries from existing customers in a professional and timely manner, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
