About The Position

Sells and promotes PCC products to guests visiting the various retail sales locations while maintaining a clean attractive work area. Achieves sales goals on a consistent basis. Applies quality customer service concepts and practices when processing, exchanging or upgrading guests’ purchases. Interacts with guests by answering questions and addressing concerns.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the various activities and services provided at the Polynesian Cultural Center
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good health and be capable of a full range of body movement
• Capable of lifting 25-50lbs on a regular basis
• Fluent in the English language in both written and oral communication
• Know how to use a personal computer
• Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations
• Must attach resume and current class semester schedule (weekly view)
• All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI
• Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in a foreign language is highly desirable but not required
• Previous sales experience highly desirable
• Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks
