CLA is currently seeking an Associate to join their CAAS (Client Accounting Advisory Services) group, focusing on the Higher Education Industry. This role is available in King of Prussia PA, Minneapolis MN, Oak Brook IL, Houston TX, or Austin TX offices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Accounting and financial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
Complete financial statements.
Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.
Complete complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by Senior, Assistant Controller, Controller, or CFO.
Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other client-requested forms or items.
