About The Position

The Associate assists FCA staff with necessary duties assigned by the supervisor in order to aid in the successful camp ministry or campus ministry programs and/or administrative support. An Associate is a temporary, part time hourly position, ineligible for FCA benefits and 401K contributions. Associates can be FCA staff for up to 1 year.

Requirements

• Strong identity and relationship with Christ.

• Self-starter, self-motivated, professional, organized, and demonstrates leadership ability.
• College athletes preferred (but not exclusively).

Responsibilities

• Agree with, and abide by, FCA's Christian Community Statement.
• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study to seek the Lord's will for FCA.
• Lead, conduct and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example so they are equipped to serve others.
• Connect to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs (see FCA's Christian Community Statement) at all times.
• Gain experience in aspects of full-time ministry; marketing, fundraising, staff development, volunteer recruitment and management, camp, and huddles.
• Gain experience ministry to coaches and athletes in Philadelphia.
• Participate in leadership, time-management, and goal-setting training.
• Participate in weekly excursions for fun and relationship building.
