About The Position

The Associate position at California Chicken Cafe in Pasadena is responsible for preparing the restaurant's famous scratch-made menu items accurately and efficiently. This role involves maintaining a positive work environment, adhering to company values, preparing and packaging guest orders, and ensuring food is stored and labeled correctly according to health regulations. Associates must be able to read and follow recipes, maintain a clean and stocked kitchen, and communicate any issues with food quality, equipment, or the work environment. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is also required, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
Speak, read, and write English fluently.
Passion for food and hospitality.
Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative.
Must enjoy and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with California state law requirements.
Fully documented to work in the United States.

1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred.
