Reporting to an Executive Director, the Associate will be responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting, and operational oversight of Prime Property Fund. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders and third‑party service providers to ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality financial reporting and operational execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or private industry accounting
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and data management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, senior management, external administrators, asset managers, lenders, and other third‑party service providers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to producing high‑quality work product with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and goal‑oriented mindset with a positive, team‑focused attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CFA candidate preferred.
  • Big Four experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate accounting and fair value / market value accounting preferred.
  • experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review quarterly and annual reporting deliverables prepared by the outsourced fund administrator, including both fund‑level and investment‑level financial information.
  • Review and analyze financial statements of property‑owning entities and mid‑tier holding entities, including monthly financial packages, audited financial statements, and tax returns.
  • Support quarterly review of fund financial performance, including budget‑to‑actual variance analyses and fund‑ and investment‑level return metrics.
  • Liaise with the fund administrator on accounting, operational, and reporting matters, including oversight of the quarterly close process.
  • Review quarterly forecasts and coordinate internal and external reporting deliverables.
  • Assist with the oversight and coordination of valuation processes and valuation committee materials.
  • Prepare and review responses to external requests from clients, consultants, and counterparties, including due diligence questionnaires and RFPs.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and portfolio analyses to support portfolio management and senior leadership.
  • Support ad hoc internal and external reporting and technology initiatives, as required.
  • Manage and maintain fund‑level and investment‑level liquidity models, including cash monitoring, forecasting, line of credit management, and related debt compliance.
  • Review regulatory reporting requirements, including AIFM, AIFMD, and other applicable filings, as relevant.
  • Coordinate and review capital calls, redemptions, and distributions to fund investors.
  • Assist with legal entity management, including regulatory filings and ongoing compliance obligations.
