About The Position

Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA) offers investment banking services with access to a global network of EY mergers & acquisitions, debt capital markets and equity capital markets professionals. The global EY network offers a comprehensive suite of services, and EY firms consistently rank among the leading financial services firms based on the number of completed transactions globally. You’ll be working in a team environment with industry-focused investment banking professionals on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions across a range of healthcare sectors. Our industry and subsector focused team works to support middle market healthcare organizations via a comprehensive investment banking services offering including mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and related transactions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Investment banking experience.
  • Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing).
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
  • A proven record of excellence in investment banking specific to mergers, acquisitions and capital markets.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel to develop financial models, knowledge of pivot tables, and using excel for in-depth modeling.
  • Efficient use of research databases and technical ability to manipulate data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting senior bankers with developing client deliverables ranging from pitching to transaction marketing, as well as business development activities.
  • Analyzing financial data, identifying key trends behind the performance of a business, preparing financial models and conducting research.
  • Mentoring and supporting investment banking analysts.
