Associate Wind Technician- North Sky River Wind: Tehachapi, California
About The Position
NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Wind Technician to join their team. This position will focus on warehouse management, parts running, and assisting the Site Manager with other compliance and O&M Maintenance related tasks to support wind energy operations at both North Sky River and Sky River Wind. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient handling, storage, and transportation of parts and materials required for wind turbine maintenance and operations. Employees in this job perform warehouse management, business duties, environmental inspections, safety inspections, and other ancillary duties to help support operations at a wind site.
Requirements
- High School Grad / GED
- 0+ years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Associate's or Equivalent Experience
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
Responsibilities
- Performs parts and inventory management including adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Act policies and procedures
- Transports equipment, tooling, and parts to and from technicians and contractors in the field with assistance
- Performs safety and environmental inspections directed by site leadership
- Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
- Manages own training schedules and meets training requirements of the position
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
