About The Position
Boeing Distribution Inc (BDI) has an opening for Associate Wheel and Brake Technician who will execute the wheel and brake production plan and will be responsibilities to follow all safety and quality policies and insure productivity goals are met. This will require that they be available and willing to work in all areas of the shop including, but not limited to, receiving, disassemble, cleaning, painting, assemble and shipping as required. Position is located in Parsippany, NJ.
Requirements
- 1 year of part 145 or military or auto or hydraulic mechanic experience
- Must have strong communication skills
- Able to read and comprehend technical manuals.
- This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A&P Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Performs simple production assembly operations , pressure testing, inspection, tagging, and shipping of various aircraft hose assemblies using various crimpers, hydraulic equipment and hand tools.
