About The Position

The Associate Wealth Advisor position is a support role to the senior wealth advisor. Relative to the senior wealth advisor, who is primarily focused on developing new business, the Associate Wealth Advisor is primarily responsible for the success of existing client relationships. The position requires an individual who has a thorough knowledge of the financial services business and who is committed to being part of a team that delivers a comprehensive client solution. This individual must have strong relationship management skills. They must be reliable, organized and deadline driven. A qualified applicant must be dedicated, goal‐oriented, and able to work well in a self‐directed and collaborative environment. Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 day per week, or as assigned by their team leader.

  • CFP designation is preferred or desired to be obtained within two years of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior advisor in all aspects of client relationship management.
  • Participate in client review meetings and facilitate all follow-up items.
  • Create financial plan and recommendations for existing new clients.
  • Oversee proactive planning strategies (Roth conversion, beneficiaries, taxes, etc.).
  • Proactively review and adjust client portfolios for financial planning needs.
  • Assist with Corporate Retirement Plan clients.
  • Series 65 license is required or obtained within the first three months of hire date.
  • CFP designation is preferred or desired to be obtained within two years of hire date.
