About The Position

As a member of residential leadership team, provides oversight to 24/7 operations of numerous residential programs. Provides supervision to Residential Directors to ensure quality services are delivered. Ensures the continuous development of Residential Directors. Oversees the continuum of residential services to create safe and functional living environment for the people with ID/DD. Supports the agency strategic plan through the development and implementation of divisional operational plans.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, special education, public administration, health administration or a related human services field. At least two years of full-time related supervisory or management experience and at least one year of clinical experience.
  • Associates degree in a human services field and at least 10 years of full-time management experience provided to individuals with developmental disabilities with administrative experience overseeing multiple program sites

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and laws while maintaining an in-depth understanding of assigned sites, program models, and daily operations to ensure effectiveness and accountability.
  • Takes ownership of staying informed and up to date on program support needs- including human resources, recruitment, training, information technology, property management to ensure effective support and operational success.
  • Ensures readiness for external and internal reviews and surveys by maintaining accurate documentation, implementing compliance checks, and addressing any deficiencies while maintaining strict adherence to HCBS guidelines
  • Ensure high-quality support services that uphold individual rights and foster growth across homes, programs, sites, and the community, driving continuous excellence
  • Ensures the Residential Director is fostering positive relationships and communication with individuals, families, staff, advocates, and the community to support the agency’s mission
  • Development and implementation of the Strategic Plan aligned with the agency goals
  • Analyze agency data to identify, develop, and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Identifies emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges and communicates to VP.
  • Foster a positive work culture by guiding and supporting management teams, promoting a shared vision, and motivating teams toward common goals.
  • Professional development and supervision of Residential Directors.
  • Monitor Residential Directors’ performance and adherence to Residential Director manual.
  • Expected to oversee the Incident Management Process within the required timeframe set forth by regulation.
  • Expected to oversee the implementation of Plans of Correction.
  • Ensure sites vacancies are managed appropriately
  • Serves as QIDP for individuals in their respective programs when necessary.
  • Assists in the development of program budgets and provides financial oversight to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Provides leadership and direction to programs during emergencies situations.
  • Develop high quality policies and procedures to guide the implementation of services.
  • Ensure confidential and thorough recordkeeping, with mandatory retention purging for individual and staff-related activities and incidents.
  • Assumes lead in agency initiatives, special projects, grants, and committee assignments while participating in meetings, trainings, and required projects.
  • Expected to provide oversight of programs as duties require during evening, overnights and weekends. Periodic on-site visits to ensure high quality standards are being met is required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve using residential performance data and oversee Residential Directors implementation of plan
  • Leads multiple programs, types and locations within a major functional area.
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
