About The Position

This position is for an Associate Vice President (AVP), Digital Operations at Safelite, an auto glass company that is building an AI-native digital organization. The role involves architecting the operating model to power this future, focusing on building and evolving systems, rhythms, and processes that connect strategy to execution across the digital portfolio. The AVP will create visibility, prioritization, and performance management capabilities to enable teams to scale innovation and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Digital and is central to a significant digital transformation within the company.

Requirements

8+ years of leadership experience in Product Operations, Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management, or a related function.
Proven success building and scaling operational capabilities within product-led, technology-forward organizations.
Experience connecting investment decisions and product portfolios to measurable business and financial outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to create planning frameworks, operating rhythms, prioritization models, and governance structures that improve execution.
Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to influence strategy and decision-making.
Experience driving AI adoption, modern ways of working, or digital transformation initiatives.
Exceptional communication and executive influence skills.
Ability to lead through ambiguity and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

Nice To Haves

Experience building Product Operations, Portfolio Management, Digital Operations, or Transformation functions from the ground up.
Experience supporting large-scale digital product organizations.

Responsibilities

Build the operating model that connects strategy, investment, and execution across the Digital organization.
Establish portfolio management disciplines for transparency, accountability, and predictability.
Build governance, planning, goal-setting, and performance management systems for effective team scaling.
Create clear visibility into priorities, investments, business outcomes, risks, and delivery commitments.
Build the framework to directly link digital initiatives to financial and business outcomes.
Partner with Product, Finance, Analytics, and business leaders to define, validate, and measure value realization.
Create a clear line of sight from strategic investments to growth, efficiency, customer outcomes, and enterprise performance.
Help leadership make better decisions through data, insight, and transparency.
Lead portfolio planning across multiple product domains and investment horizons.
Develop prioritization frameworks to focus resources on the highest-value opportunities.
Balance near-term performance needs with long-term innovation and transformation goals.
Guide trade-off decisions in a fast-moving environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
Create operating rhythms that enable teams to move with greater speed and confidence.
Improve collaboration between Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Business teams.
Identify bottlenecks, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and improve organizational effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement in planning, delivery, and decision-making processes.
Champion the use of AI throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop frameworks, tools, workflows, and practices to leverage AI for improved speed, quality, and outcomes.
Partner with leaders across Digital to create an AI-enabled operating model that becomes a competitive advantage.
