About The Position

This role is designed for a veterinarian who wants to focus on practicing medicine without the burdens of administrative tasks, callbacks, or paperwork. As an Internal Relief Veterinarian, you will travel between three AAHA-accredited hospitals in southeastern New Hampshire, covering for doctors on vacation or leave. The hospitals share a common culture called Conscious Care®, focused on compassion for self, team, clients, patients, and community. Unlike traditional relief roles, this position separates the veterinarian from client follow-up and administrative duties, allowing them to concentrate solely on medical practice. A personal assistant supports appointments, managing client check-ins and patient flow, ensuring the veterinarian stays on schedule and leaves on time. The role offers a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday only, with no weekends or on-call duties, and protected time off.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Active New Hampshire veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proficient in general medicine
• Confident and adaptable
• Reliable and accountable
• Great attitude and ability to work well with teams
• DVM/VMD from an accredited institution
• Active New Hampshire veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with avian and exotic species
• DEA license preferred
• USDA Accreditation preferred
