About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Paterson, NJ. We offer a unique model for veterinarians that prioritizes work-life balance and career sustainability. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will have control over your schedule, with a dedicated coordinator building your schedule in advance based on your preferences. We handle scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with teams. We support various interests including surgery, dentistry, ER, and urgent care. This role provides the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employer, eliminating concerns about chasing shifts, income uncertainty, or last-minute schedule gaps. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
  • Active license (or ability to obtain).
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
  • Confidence practicing independently.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.

  • GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
  • Internship training.
