About The Position

CityVet South Austin is looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a balanced caseload with a wide variety of cases, from preventative care to advanced surgeries, in a collaborative and well-supported environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in surgery and dentistry, be confident with complex cases, and thrive in a high-energy, creative setting. This position is designed for a full-time or part-time Associate DVM interested in general practice. The hospital is fully equipped to support advanced diagnostics and surgical care, including 5 exam rooms, a large treatment area, and a private surgical suite.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with surgery and dentistry.
  • Open to working a flexible schedule with rotating weekends.
  • Confident working with complex cases.
