About The Position

PetDocks Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice that has served Morehead City and the surrounding coastal communities since 2000. Our collaborative team delivers thoughtful, individualized medicine in a modern hospital while maintaining strong, personal relationships with our clients and their pets. The practice is a small animal general practice with urgent care cases, seeing approximately 16 patients per doctor daily. The support staff ratio is approximately 2:1. The case mix includes wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and urgent care. Specialty support is available from visiting orthopedic and ultrasound specialists at least once per month. The team culture is fast-paced and collaborative, with doctors working together to manage a diverse caseload.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Strong communication and client-education skills.
