About The Position

Chalet Veterinary Clinic is a multi-doctor, companion animal hospital located in Stoughton, WI, that has been providing high-quality medical, dental, and surgical services to dogs and cats for over 30 years. They are seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their supportive, collaborative team. The hospital focuses on comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care for canine and feline patients, utilizing a modern facility with advanced equipment for radiology, surgery, diagnostics, and laboratory work. They handle routine soft tissue and dental surgeries and manage emergencies on a case-by-case basis, referring complex cases to local ER or specialty facilities.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
Valid veterinary license.
Experience with soft tissue and dental surgeries.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to adapt to flexible scheduling.
Proficiency in medical, dental, and surgical services for companion animals.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SignalPet AI interpretation.
Familiarity with IDEXX Catalyst, ProCyte, and Sedivue analyzers.
Experience with Zoetis Imagyst.
Experience with ultrasound procedures.
Experience with electrocautery units.
Experience with anesthesia and patient monitoring equipment.
Interest in orthopedic procedures (though these are referred out).

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical, dental, and surgical services to dogs and cats.
Perform routine soft tissue and dental surgeries.
Handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
Conduct 2-4 surgical procedures per day (spays, neuters, mass removals, dentals).
Manage appointments with 30-minute slots, approximately 15 per full appointment day.
Collaborate with a supportive, team-based environment.
Participate in optional team-building activities.
Potentially cover a Saturday for PTO or planned absences.
