About The Position
Carter County Animal Hospital is a full-service, compassionate veterinary hospital serving Ardmore and the surrounding region. Founded in 2007 by Dr. Cade & Mary Kate Wilson, we offer diagnostics, surgery (including laser surgery), in-house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, ortho/rehab, and more, all in a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere! Requirements
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Oklahoma
- Strong communication skills, client-service focus
- Comfortable performing surgery and dentistry (or desire to build those skills)
- Interest in mentoring/supporting a team and helping drive practice growth
- Empathetic, team-oriented attitude and desire to live in a community-focused practice
Responsibilities
- Perform physical exams, diagnostics, treatment plans, surgery, and dental procedures
- Mentor and work with support staff and newer team members
- Provide compassionate client education and communication
- Collaborate on hospital initiatives for growth, quality of care, and client satisfaction
