Hillcrest Animal Hospital, nestled in the heart of Quinte West and a proud member of the VetStrategy family, has an opportunity for a Lead DVM to support the team, develop processes, and guide a commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience
- Ability to handle any case with professionalism and flexibility in the face of evolving veterinary practices and technology
- Ability to lead and inspire a team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to build lasting connections with clients
- Effective communication skills to navigate challenging situations, provide client education, and foster animal health
- Empathy for animals and their owners
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Support the team
- Develop processes
- Guide a commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine
- Mentor fellow veterinarians in their early careers
- Work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain gold-standard medicine
- Develop and maintain SOPs
- Help determine the direction of the clinic
- Provide additional support to patients in need through the Care Fund
- Work across our network of clinics
