About The Position

Central Hospital for Animals, a trusted small animal and exotics hospital with four busy locations across Southern Illinois, is seeking a Full-Time DVM to join their teams at the Marion and Herrin clinics. For over 45 years, Central Hospital for Animals has been dedicated to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for all patients. The main hospital in Herrin, IL, alongside satellite locations in Carbondale, Marion, and Harrisburg, feature fully equipped pharmacies, laboratories, and surgical suites. With a combined staff experience of over 250 years, the team includes 6 skilled veterinarians and 35 highly qualified support staff.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
DEA license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
USDA accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Compassionate, team-oriented, and excellent communicator.
Proficient in general medicine and surgery.
