About The Position
Animal Clinic of the Ozarks is a growing two-doctor veterinary hospital in Flippin, Arkansas, providing compassionate, high-quality care in a welcoming, collaborative, family-like environment. The practice offers comprehensive services, including wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, urgent care, laser therapy, and boarding. Its modern facility includes digital radiology, an in-house laboratory, laser therapy, and modern surgical equipment. The Associate Veterinarian will provide veterinary care with support from experienced veterinarians and dedicated staff. The clinic offers mentorship, professional development, collaboration, and medical autonomy, and welcomes both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates. The position is based in the Ozarks, near Bull Shoals Lake and the White River.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary state license, or eligibility to obtain one upon hire.
- DEA license, or ability to obtain one.
- USDA accreditation, or ability to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care to patients.
- Deliver care across services including wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, urgent care, laser therapy, and boarding.
