Gander Veterinary Clinic is a full-service, companion animal veterinary practice that has been serving Gander and a large portion of surrounding areas of central Newfoundland for over 30 years. The clinic only moved to its current location on 26 Roe Avenue in 2009 and has continued to grow since then, with an expansion of services and products available to our clients. We have an outstanding team of compassionate staff that works hard to meet the unique medical needs of the pets visiting us. From surgical and medical services to dental care and pet wellness, we offer a range of services for cats, dogs, exotic animals such as reptiles, parrots, rodents, hamsters and other types of companion animals. Our veterinarians are dedicated to meeting our patients’ specific needs through preventative care, regular exams, surgical procedures and other medical services. Our hospital is equipped with ultrasound, a surgical suite, digital x-ray, and laser therapy. We use MLS laser therapy post-surgery to help reduce pain and promote faster healing. We perform most of our diagnostic services at our clinic using the in-house lab equipment, allowing our veterinarians to get blood results on the same day. We also conduct muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary system X-ray for our patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and thrives in a family oriented practice where the atmosphere is professional and easy going. New graduates are welcome to apply and will benefit from our unique mentorship opportunities. Our clinic is open five days a week, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and not open any evenings or weekends. We have a shared on-call arrangement with other clinics in the area, offering a very flexible work-life balance.
