About The Position

Candlewood Animal Hospital is seeking a passionate small animal veterinarian, either part-time or full-time. The hospital values individualized care, curiosity, and compassion. They are involved in community work with animal welfare organizations and have strong relationships with 24-hour care facilities and specialists. The hospital is equipped with modern technology including in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, an oxygen cage, a portable anesthesia machine, and Phovia light therapy. The practice is PENNHIP certified, trained in pet rehabilitation, recognized as a Cat Friendly practice, and has received the Heart of the Bulldog Award.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Active Veterinary State License
• USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a veterinarian.
• Interest in mentorship or willingness to mentor new graduates.
