About The Position

Ceres Veterinary Clinic is growing and seeking a compassionate, collaborative Associate Veterinarian. This position offers flexibility for full-time (30+ hours) or part-time work, with the goal of building a role that fits professional goals. The clinic is a community-based practice with a loyal client base, supported by a long-tenured, experienced staff. The veterinarian is a strong, supportive leader who believes in teamwork, mentorship, and high-quality medicine. The clinic serves as the veterinary provider for city animal services and offers discounted care to local shelters and rescue organizations, emphasizing community involvement. The hospital was remodeled in 2019 and is well-equipped for in-house diagnostics and procedures, including full diagnostic lab capabilities, digital radiology, ultrasound, a surgical suite, and a dedicated dental suite with advanced expertise. The clinic sees dogs and cats and is open to expanding services based on the new veterinarian's interests and skills. Consistent relief veterinarians ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Compassionate and collaborative.

  • Open to mentorship or enjoys mentoring others.
