About The Position
The Pet Hospital of La Mesa is seeking a full-time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). At La Mesa, we offer complete autonomy in medical practice, trusting our veterinarians' abilities and education. We provide the necessary tools, and our veterinarians provide the knowledge. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including digital x-ray, in-house labs, diagnostic ultrasound, dental x-ray, and a surgical laser. Teamwork is highly valued, with access to a network of licensed professionals through an online community and round table discussions. The in-clinic team is close-knit and welcoming. This is a Small Animal General Practice, focusing primarily on cats and dogs with an emphasis on wellness and preventative medicine. The practice type is GP, with an average daily patient volume of 16, and a support staff ratio of 2:1. The case mix includes wellness, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital utilizes technology such as Digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, and digital dental x-ray. The team culture is collaborative, with a team approach and highly skilled support staff.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
