Since opening our doors in 1979, Candlewood Animal Hospital has been dedicated to helping pets in the community stay healthy and live long lives. Our community is the heart of what we do. We work with many animal welfare organizations to find appropriate homes for unwanted pets. We also have a strong relationship with several 24-hour care facilities, with many specialists, for those pets needing emergency and/or advanced specialty care. We’re also proud to be PENNHIP certified, trained in pet rehabilitation, recognized as a Cat Friendly practice, and honored with the Heart of the Bulldog Award for our dedication. Our hospital is equipped with technology that helps us provide the highest level of medicine to our community. Comprehensive in-house diagnostics, Digital radiography & Ultrasound, Oxygen cage, Portable anesthesia machine, Phovia light therapy.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.
Active Veterinary State License.
USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Experienced Veterinarian.
New graduates or those transitioning fields (for mentorship program).
