About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Sacramento, CA. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing work-life balance and career sustainability. As a W-2 employee, you will have control over your schedule, working 4-5 days per week with a guaranteed biweekly salary. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will work across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with various teams. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides comprehensive support including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of fellow veterinarians, and access to a veterinary social worker. Opportunities for leadership, professional development, and exposure to diverse clinical settings are also highlighted, all within a model designed to prevent burnout.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
- Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
- Confidence practicing independently.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
