About The Position

Hillside Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Charles Town, WV. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative culture, handling a variety of medical and surgical cases, and supports professional aspirations. This role is suitable for all experience levels and offers the use of state-of-the-art equipment including x-ray, dental x-rays, ultrasound, and a surgical laser. The team is close-knit, with a multi-doctor practice comprising seven veterinarians. The location is described as a Hallmark-vibes town with local shops and restaurants, and is situated 1.5 hours from Washington, DC.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Charles Town community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
