About The Position
Jefferson Animal Hospital, a Non-Corporate, Privately Owned Practice, is searching for an Associate Veterinarian who is pursuing a unique, rewarding career in Immediate Care and Emergency Medicine. You will be making a tremendous impact every day. We are seeking an experienced veterinarian with or without emergency experience. We offer excellent mentoring in emergency diagnostics, procedures and surgery. Previous surgery experience is a plus. Jefferson Animal Hospital and Regional Emergency Center, an AAHA accredited practice, is an industry leader as a 24 hour Emergency Center and wellness practice. We have been under the same ownership for 45 years. We are 1 of only 3 emergency hospitals in the area. We are exceptionally equipped to continue caring for the animals in our community. You will be joining a team of 60 dedicated Veterinarians and staff, who provide the best care for our patients every day.
Requirements
- Experienced veterinarian
- Ability to work in an elite team of dedicated doctors and staff
- Willingness to learn, test and cultivate skills with the assistance of highly skilled support staff

Responsibilities
- Provide immediate care and emergency medicine.
- Perform emergency diagnostics, procedures, and surgery.
- Gain surgery and internal medicine experience.
- Navigate a variety of challenging diagnostic cases with an emphasis on emergencies, internal medicine, and surgeries.
- Provide care for patients at a 24-hour Emergency Center and wellness practice.
