About The Position

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. This role involves examining, diagnosing, and treating illnesses and injuries in companion animals, primarily dogs and cats. You will provide a full range of medical, surgical, preventive, and dental care services, including administering vaccinations and educating clients on wellness and preventive care. Collaboration with veterinary colleagues and referring veterinarians is key to ensuring continuity of care. You will also partner with hospital leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and hospital operations, while maintaining accurate medical records and treatment plans. We encourage participation in continuing education, training, and professional development opportunities, and contribution to a positive and collaborative workplace culture. The ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment is essential.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Eligible to obtain a Connecticut State Veterinary License
• Strong communication, teamwork, and client service skills
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience preferred
• Internship training preferred, but not required
