About The Position

Animal Health Care Associates is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team on Martha's Vineyard. This practice has been serving the community for over 45 years and offers a collaborative, supportive, and well-established environment. The ideal candidate enjoys surgery, values strong client relationships, and is excited to practice comprehensive medicine. The hospital primarily cares for dogs and cats but also offers opportunities to see occasional equine and other large animal patients. Doctors are encouraged to practice medicine to the fullest extent of their training, with a wide range of surgical and medical procedures performed in-house. The hospital is continually investing in its future with plans for facility expansion and equipment upgrades. The practice also participates in a collaborative after-hours emergency rotation with other veterinary hospitals on Martha's Vineyard.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one)
• Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry (mentorship available for new grads)
• DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
