About The Position

Caldwell Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Lenoir, North Carolina. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative culture, handling a variety of medical and surgical cases such as hernia repairs, intestinal resection, liver biopsies, and spleen or gallbladder removal. They support professional aspirations and welcome candidates of all experience levels. The practice is equipped with digital x-rays, dental x-rays, ultrasound, and cold/therapy laser, and also offers acupuncture services. The surgery suite features large windows.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Lenoir community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
