Hercules Pet Hospital is a modern, well-equipped facility where you can practice high-quality medicine with the tools to back it up. As the only veterinary hospital in Hercules, we've built deep roots and a great reputation in our community, serving loyal clients from Hercules, Pinole, El Sobrante, Rodeo, and Crockett. Our team runs on open communication, transparency, and a light-hearted spirit that makes each day both fulfilling and fun. Our practice currently handles a mix of about 70% dogs and 30% cats, with an even split between wellness and consults. Requirements

Clinical expertise (mentorship or leadership experience is a plus)
Have strong surgical and diagnostic skills, with particular interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, or ultrasound
Lead with confidence and compassion, and value open communication and healthy team dynamics
Approach challenges with a growth mindset and collaborative spirit
A client facing approach to veterinary care

Responsibilities

Perform routine and advanced surgeries (spay/neuter, mass removals, dental procedures, and more depending on skillset)
Conduct comprehensive medical exams, diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions
Create individualized treatment plans, including follow-up care and client education
Work up cases using in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory tools
Handle urgent and same-day cases when needed, with the support of an experienced team
Provide clear, compassionate communication to clients and colleagues

$150,000 - $180,000 base salary, + uncapped production bonus for unlimited earning potential with no negative accruals
