About The Position
Vineyard Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for their small animal and exotics practice on Martha's Vineyard. This role offers a diverse caseload including general practice, urgent care, and walk-ins, treating dogs, cats, and exotics. The clinic provides strong mentorship for new graduates and is equipped with modern facilities and equipment such as digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, cautery, and an in-house lab. The practice emphasizes high-quality, science-based medicine with a Fear-Free approach to patient care and client communication. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one)
Nice To Haves
- DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
- Mentorship available for new grads in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
- Training and mentorship available for exotic pet medicine
