About The Position

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in the Naples & Ft. Myers, FL area. This role offers an alternative to traditional in-clinic practice, focusing on compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and their families. As a mobile veterinarian, you will practice with purpose, enjoy a balanced life, and be part of a supportive community of over 400 veterinarians and support professionals. The position emphasizes professional fulfillment and personal freedom, with a focus on un-rushed appointments and deeply appreciated work.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Availability to work some weekends
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes.
Conduct an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day.
Manage paperwork efficiently to allow more time with families.
Practice medicine that aligns with personal values and provides emotional fulfillment.
