About The Position

CityVet Goodyear is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their growing General Practice (GP) practice. Located in the West Valley of Phoenix, this role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine, build relationships with clients, and work with an experienced team. The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing independently, performing surgery and dentistry, or is an exceptional new graduate who is highly motivated and clinically curious. The schedule is structured around four days per week, with flexibility for a three-day schedule for the right candidate, emphasizing work-life balance with set days rather than changing shifts. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys the variety of general practice and wants to maintain a strong surgical and dental component to their caseload.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
Comfortable practicing independently and confident performing surgery and dentistry (preferred, but open to exceptional new graduates).

Responsibilities

Practice comprehensive small-animal general medicine
Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry
Have a dedicated surgery day each week
Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities, including ultrasound
Work with an experienced support team
Help shape the continued growth of an already established and well-loved practice
