About The Position
VCA Bridgeport Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement their talented team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The hospital provides primary care for a variety of species, from cats and dogs to pocket pets and birds, for a population of approximately 60,000 people in Lancaster and York Counties. The facility is equipped with a fully stocked pharmacy, in-house lab capabilities, digital x-ray systems, and is supported by a fantastic staff with a sense of urgency, compassion, and experience for all situations. The hospital values work-life balance, with doctors working three days a week and every 3rd Saturday. The hospital is open 6 days a week with no on-call hours. Lancaster, PA, offers a vibrant community with restaurants, art galleries, outdoor music, county parks, and Buchanan Dog Park. There is a minor league baseball team, theaters, Hershey Park, and outlet shopping. The Susquehanna River provides opportunities for hiking and boating. The location also offers easy access to the Lancaster train station, which can take you to Philadelphia or even up to NYC.
