About The Position
Kent Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate, driven Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Amite City, Louisiana. This role involves providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone passionate about animal welfare, who enjoys building relationships with clients, and desires room to grow their clinical interests.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary program
- Active or eligible Louisiana veterinary license
- Strong communication skills and a genuine love of animals and people
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians alike are encouraged to apply — mentorship available
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical and surgical cases
- Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventive care
- Build lasting relationships with pet owners and the broader Amite City community
- Collaborate with a supportive team of technicians and support staff
- Pursue your own clinical interests, whether that's dentistry, dermatology, or another specialty area
