About The Position
IndeVets is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a part-time, W-2 employment model with a focus on veterinarian wellbeing and work-life balance. As a part-time veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy with no production quotas, no negative accrual, and no restrictive non-competes. You will have dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians, along with access to a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
- Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
- Confidence practicing independently.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Nice To Haves
- GP, ER, or urgent care experience.
- Internship training.
